Confetti.co.uk is a UK-based wedding website and online shop, giving brides all over the UK inspiration and advice about their weddings, themes, products, planning and everything in between. Strictly speaking, Confetti’s main offering is its online shop, with the other features acting to draw people into the site, but to be honest, we’re fine with that, provided those features are good.

Given that all of the features of Confetti are completely free to use (save for the shop, of course), Confetti is a great site to use as a companion to one of the other services we have reviewed or on its own, if you’re planning your wedding on a budget.  The features on offer at Confetti.co.uk are largely planning tools that help make planning your big day a little more straightforward. All of these tools are free and include a guestlist builder and manager, RSVP manager, budgeting tools, an excellent planning guide (giving you the lowdown on everything from speeches to traditions, honeymoons, ceremonies and more) and a great directory of wedding fairs and venues. The latter is particularly good, letting users search by location to find the kind of venue they are looking for.

Finally, Confetti also hosts a huge directory of wedding suppliers who are able to provide the more unusual or difficult to source items (such as confetti cannons, chocolate fountains, lighting, ice sculptures and other such things), often at special rates, which can take a lot of the stress out of organising your big day.  The Confetti Shop is one of the best UK online locations for everything from invitations and stationery to favours, party goods, cake decorations and more. The shop itself is really easy to navigate and search, with users being able to search by theme (e.g. Vintage, Wanderlust, Retro and more) or using the colour palette, so you find things that match your existing colour scheme.  

The wedding inspiration gallery brings together items from the store in mood boards, to help you see how individual items can be used as part of a themed wedding, while articles about individual parts of your wedding (e.g. favours or bridesmaids gifts) will introduce you to products you may not have thought about (and provide links to them in the Confetti shop). 

One of the best features that we found on the Confetti site was “Ask Kate”, a sort of wedding agony-aunt feature that connects users with Kate Thompson, a wedding expert that has appeared on TV and has written in countless wedding magazines. If you’re in a quandary over an issue of etiquette, have no idea how to make your chosen theme go off with a bang, need advice on how to deal with problem guests or unusual dietary requests or pretty much everything in between, Ask Kate will have the answer. What’s more, there is a back-catalogue of previously asked questions that make for interesting reading and give quick and accessible answers to some of the most common problems. 

With a wide range of great features (all provided free of charge) as well as access to one of the largest online wedding shops we could find, we thought that Confetti had a lot to offer. If you’re looking for some inspiration or simply a place to purchase all of things you need for your big day, Confetti could well be perfect for the job.
