NearlyWeds is a great site that lets users create simple, yet effective personalized websites for their big day. Some of our readers may recognize this site’s name as the title of a 2013 movie about weddings that did not go so well, but this NearlyWeds is all about ensuring that the early stages of organizing your big day are as painless as possible.

All sites built with NearlyWeds are designed using NearlyWeds technology, which ensures your site is compatible with all browser types (including tablets and smart phones), leaving you to concentrate on personalizing them so that they reflect your personality and that of your wedding. NearlyWeds users can start building their site by choosing from one of many template designs. There’s so much choice here, you’re bound to find something suitable for your wedding no matter how unusual your theme is.

Applying your design to your site is easy and you can then go on to customize almost every element of the site to ensure it looks exactly as you want it to. You can also switch themes or color palettes at any time, so if the theme of your wedding changes, so can your wedding website. Customizing your site yet further is easy – you can add as many photos or videos of yourselves as you wish, add additional pages to tell guests about yourselves and how you met and explain in more detail certain elements of your wedding. 

A few things stood out to us when we were reviewing this site that are worth a mention. Firstly, the site’s website editor is great and particularly good if you’re not used to working with website editing. The powerful drag and drop style editor makes it easy to make changes to your site, no matter how large or small and you can quickly see what your site looks like after your changes have been made.

Secondly, users can protect their site using password protection if they wish, meaning only invited guests can look at the site. Finally, users can add a number of additional features to their site including an online comments book, online RSVP system, guest photo and video uploads (a great way to get your hands on the unofficial photos of your day) and much more. 

Although NearlyWeds misses out on a spot in our top ten (mainly because it doesn’t offer much in the way of planning tools), we do think this service has a lot to offer for a reasonable price. Hit the link below to check it out for yourself.
