WedMeDo is a online wedding website builder that lets you create a flash-based wedding website in under 30 minutes. You can start off with your own save the date site (which is free of charge) and build out your site to include all of the information your guests are likely to need.

Users can start with one of WedMeDo’s excellent templates, allowing them to build their site quickly while still adding their own stamp to their site. All sites are fully customizable, so no matter how unique your wedding theme or color choice, there’s something suitable for you at WedMeDo. 

A couple of features in particular deserve a mention as they go some way to making this service a bit more exciting.  Users can add photo galleries and video pages to their websites to add some extra personality and add a digital guest book to engage their guests and allow them to leave messages. Users can also add an RSVP function, which can either be used in conjunction with traditional paper invitations or with e-invitations by email.

A gift registry can also be added to your site to give your guests an idea of the kinds of items you would like to receive. All of this is coupled with some of the more common features you can expect to find on sites of this kind, such as information about venues, accommodations, directions and the ceremony itself.

A note of caution – a number of the additional features on offer at this service are charged individually and are therefore not included in the $59 site fee (see above for more details). Although we quite liked the wedding website building features at WedMeDo, the absence of planning features means that this service was never going to make it into our top ten in this category.

That said, if you’re only looking for a wedding website and you don’t need these other features, WedMeDo does offer good value for money at just $59 for a basic website including RSVP management and most of the features you would expect to see (that works out at just $5/month which is pretty reasonable, even if you are planning your wedding on a budget).
