Planning Pod (once known as My Wedding Workbook) is a great wedding planning tool that helps you to organize every element of your wedding day down to the last detail. Planning Pod isn’t strictly for planning weddings (hence the re-brand from My Wedding Workbook) but is a tool that is possibly more useful for professional wedding planners than meticulous brides, but it would work pretty well for a single event and, at just $9.99 for the “One” package, wouldn’t break the bank either.

 With a range of tools that help you streamline the organization of your big day, Planning Pod is a must for any bride and combines very effectively with other wedding planning sites and services.  Planning Pod makes it easy to manage and plan any event, but it works particularly well with weddings given the number of guests that are often involved and the number of suppliers and vendors that will provide services for your big day. Planning Pod has more than 26 time saving tools that will make planning your wedding a dream, all of which are wrapped up into one online portal that can be accessed on the go on your laptop, tablet, phone or PC.

Users of Planning Pod can use the service to prepare seating plans, table layouts and attendee lists and move names around to suit changes in the guestlist. Users can also collect RSVPs and create a bespoke website for any event, as well as sending messages to invitees and keeping notes for yourself. You can also use the service to store and keep track of the contact details of all of your guests and suppliers, making it quick and easy to make changes to your plans and get in touch with those “on the ground” at your venue. Finally, you can enjoy a full suite of budgeting and business management tools, all of which help you keep track of what is going on and how much it is costing. 

The packages available with Planning Pod vary in price depending on the number of events that can be managed at any one time. The packages are inventively named “One”, “Ten”, “Twenty Five” etc. and range in price from $9.99 per month (for the “One”) and around $60 per month (for the “70”). Larger packages are available for those users who wish to have even more than this number of events “live” at any one time, with bespoke packages available for professionals in the wedding planning business. Naturally, most users will be happy with the “One” as this will be sufficient for anyone using the tool to organize their own wedding.
