It seems like this is an ongoing issue. I ordered bubbles for my best friend's weddings. I wanted it to be surprise and have everyone blow bubbles as her and her husband walked back up the aisle. I paid the extra shipping since I needed them 5 days from the date I placed the order. I was given the confirmation email and figured it wouldn't need to double check my order since this is such a well known site, I was mistaken. Once I found out that I would be getting them after the wedding I asked if they would cancel my order and refund the money. The woman I spoke to on the phone said they would refund the amount of the bubbles but not the shipping. I didn't think that was right. I spoke to her supervisor, Debbie, and she said that they are not responsible for refunding the shipping. Nowhere on the site can I find proof that they do not refund shipping. I have basically been called a liar many times through my trails of emails and on the phone. To top it off I have now been told I am going to be getting a lesser amount back for what appears to be no reason. The excuse they have given me is because the bubbles were discounted but when I just went to check the item on the online store there is nothing that specifies that. I do not ever recommend anyone to use The Knots online store EVER!
In summary, I would not recommend The Knot to a friend.
