I can only describe the experience as a guest and how they are handling (money) gifts. Very badly.
In my case a part of the gifted money just vanished. It was charged to the credit card, and transferred to zankyou. But they allegedly did not receive it.
And now the nice part starts: Your have one month to label a transaction fraudulent with the card company. During that month, they said "you will be reimbursed". That did not happen. After that month they said "we never received it" and customer service disappeared.
Guess what: the bank now says, they can't do anything because I did not do report it during the 1 month period.
Not sure if they are fraudsters, lazy, or incompetent (e.g. have very bad processes)
In summary, I would not recommend Zankyou to a friend.
