My fiance started this website and I finished it. We should have read other couples' reviews before we chose Ewedding. I've read tons and tons of reviews since about how they scam you and it's all true.
On to my awful experience. Their site tells you that it's free. However a couple of weeks later, your "free" trial ends without any warning!! But by that time we already devoted countless hours, put the domain URL on our Save-The-Dates and sent them out! We had no other choice but to "up-grade" which is basically what the website was originally. If we left it as is and didn't upgrade, the only thing left on our website would be our names and the date that we would be getting married. We had no other choice but to stay with these schmucks and pay the cost since our Save-The-Dates were already sent. There is no contact information for their customer service on their website and good luck with them responding to your email as I am STILL waiting on a reply for my THIRD email to them and it's been 3 weeks since my first email to them. The pictures are thumb nails so for your guests to view your pictures they have to click on each thumb nail. The site isn't user friendly and doesn't always do what you want it to do. I wish there was an option to give them negative stars since they aren't good enough to even get that one star.
Do yourself a favor, save yourself the hassle and money and AVOID Ewedding. Planning a wedding is already stressful enough, you don't need to get scammed from people too.
"would you recommend trying it?"....HECK NO, not even to my worst enemy.
In summary, I would not recommend eWedding to a friend.
